Today's post is a comparison between the 2 Makeup Revolution Soph X collaborations: the Soph X and the Extra Spice!
As you know, the British Youtuber SophDoesNails released makeup product in collaboration with Makeup Revolution in the past couple of years.
It was and still is a huge hit. Both palettes are best sellers!
Let's talk about the packaging:
Outside and inside packaging:
Both packagings are stunning! The first Soph X palette is light pink with a rose gold inscription and the second Extra Spice is rose fold and has a light pink labelling. Bonus: the two palettes have a huge mirror each. The palettes are very sturdy and perfect for travelling!
Quality and price:
Both palettes retail for 20,99$.
28g for the Soph X / 15g Soph X Extra Spice. So, you will get a little more shades and quantity for the first palette.
The quality of both palettes is fantastic! Mattes and shimmers are super pigmented. The mattes are super buildable too!
Colour selection:
Both palettes are different and complementary. The Extra Spice is warmer than the first palette. But the first Soph X palette has a bit more variety. We think that both palettes are worth getting since there is no repetition between the shades!
